Be a part of history
We invite the community to join us as part of our “Brick by Brick” campaign. This campaign is an opportunity for all of us to join our pioneer donors by purchasing one of the historic bricks that make up the unique historic riverfront boathouse. The boathouse will be a focal point of the East Riverwalk. Adorned with unique stones and bricks, this structure is almost as iconic as the Kankakee River itself.
Of course, the brick will remain part of the structure, but your story will be tied to it as part of an interactive experience. As bricks are purchased, we are finishing up a digital map of the bricks. Each purchase will be able to dedicate their brick and describe what it means to be part of this project. Don’t miss out on being part of our community’s biggest renaissance in decades.

This Brick is in honor of John Doe and his family.
John and his family took me in when I was a homeless youth. The generosity they've shown is neverending.
